Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Required by California Civ. Code §1798.135 (CCPA / CPRA).
1. Your right to opt out
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the right to opt out of the "sale" and "sharing" of your personal information. Devotel does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. CPRA broadens the definition of "sharing" to include cross-context behavioural advertising — when you use Orbit's public marketing pages, the browser may transmit identifiers to advertising and analytics partners (PostHog, Meta Pixel) that fall under that definition.
You can stop this transmission for the current browser by using one of the methods below.
2. Method A — Global Privacy Control (preferred)
Orbit honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. Once enabled, every page you load on orbit.devotel.io automatically registers an opt-out for the lifetime of that browser session — no form to fill, no cookie banner to dismiss, no email to send.
- Brave: on by default — no setup.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → enable "Tell websites not to sell or share my data".
- DuckDuckGo browser: on by default.
- Chrome / Edge / Safari: install the Privacy Badger or DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension; both emit GPC.
The current page received a GPC signal from your browser if and only if you see gpc_signal=true in your cookies for orbit.devotel.io. We treat that signal as a binding opt-out for this and every subsequent request.
3. Method B — File a CCPA / CPRA request
If your browser does not support GPC, or you want a durable record of the opt-out (so it survives clearing cookies, switching devices, and applies to data we may hold about you off-site), file a Right-to-Opt-Out request via the data-subject portal:
Each filed request goes through reasonable identity verification before we act on it (CPRA §1798.130(a)(7)). If you are filing on behalf of another person as their authorized agent, attach your written authorization in the request.
4. Other rights you have under CCPA / CPRA
- Right to know what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you (§1798.105).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information (§1798.106).
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (§1798.121) — government IDs, precise geolocation, account credentials, biometric data, race / ethnic origin, religion, union membership, health, sex life, sexual orientation, mail / email / message contents.
- Right to non-discrimination — Devotel will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of the rights above (§1798.125).
All five paths terminate at the same DSAR portal linked in section 3. We respond within 45 days, with up to one 45-day extension for complex cases (CPRA §1798.130(a)(2)).
5. Authorized agents
A California consumer may use an authorized agent to submit a request to opt out (§1798.135(c)). The agent must provide written permission signed by the consumer, and we may verify the consumer's identity directly before acting on the request.
